Never has there been a replaceable blade knife that is capable of storing spare blade in the handle. The Razor APX features removable scale that hold 2 drop point blade in each side. The system is composed of a magnetic retention plate, securly holding the spare blades, and a temperature resistant silicone cover to protect the blades during transport. The system is held in place by 3 assembly screws and can quickly be removed for a lightweight approach.
Featuring 2.5-inch Japanese 420J2 stainless steel blade, the Razor APX performs field dressing tasks with ease—then swaps out in seconds with the press of a button. The Razor APX is built on our trusted RazorSafe system, giving the user the ability to always have a razor-sharp edge. When you notice the knife dulling, push the blade release button, removing the old blade and inserting a new blade into the blade holder until you hear an audible click, which is the balde seating into the locking mechanism.
